Energy saving tip number one was to use a fan instead to keep cool during the summer. Energy saving by fans is dramatically more than air conditioners

Energy saving tip number two was to invest in a good exhaust system instead of a clumsy old air conditioning.

Energy saving tip number three was to keep your car properly maintained and tuned. A poorly tuned car can waste more than 25% more gas.

Energy saving tip number four was to wrap reflectors on water tanks to control the water temperature.

Energy Saving Tips Last Week


1: Energy Saving Tip of number one was to replace standard incandescent light bulbs with compact fluorescent light bulbs (CFLs) and save 75% of lighting costs.


2: Energy saving tip number two was to use a clothes line to dry the clothes instead of electric dryer. It’s energy efficient to dry small loads such as socks and underwear, on indoor drying rack.


3: Energy Saving Tip number three was to set refrigerator temperature to 36-39F (2-3C)
Set freezer to 0-5 F (-18 to-15C.

4: Energy Saving Tip number four was Unplug electronics, battery chargers and other equipment when not in use, A lot of energy saving is possible by this little effort cos together these small items can use as much energy as your refrigerator.

5: Energy Saving Tip number five was to Caulk on the inside of doors and windows. It not only energy saving but also sustainable.

6: Energy saving tip number six was to turn your thermostat down by 1oC.
